History
|
| Our
Wheatley Hill Pharmacy has been at this address since it
was opened in 1952. The first Pharmacist/Manager, Mr. Bill
Mowbray, lived above the premises until 1953 when he moved
to a Company owned house in Wingate (which he purchased
in 1973). The original dispensary was located in the kitchen
of the house that was bought in 1952. Within a few years,
the whole property was extensively modified beyond recognition. |
